How to apply for the Certificate of Postgraduate Training in Clinical Psychiatry.

Collect details of your qualifications and experience

medical degree
medical registration
membership of a specialist medical college
patient opportunity
previous experience
provision of care to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander populations (if any)

Get a signed letter from your employer

Organise a letter from your employer certifying that they are supportive of you completing the Certificate and confirming that a RANZCP Certificate Supervisor is available to observe consultations for learning and assessment purposes.

Documents will be accepted for upload in the following file formats - pdf, jpeg, png, docx.
Only documents in English will be accepted.

Complete the application form

A $250 application fee, (VISA or Mastercard accepted) is due on application. Please note this fee is not refundable.

Start your application

Your application will be reviewed by the Certificate for Postgraduate Training in Clinical Psychiatry Committee.
If prioritisation into the program is required, it will be based on the Certificate prioritisation guideline.
You will receive notification by email of the outcome of your application. Please check your junk or spam folders to ensure you don't miss communications from the RANZCP.
