In-personTasmania Rural Readiness workshop
The Tasmania Rural Readiness workshop in Hobart is an exciting opportunity for trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMG) to establish and expand the skills necessary to engage in rural practice.
This workshop will allow you to network with peers, enhance preparedness for training and practice in a rural location and build an understanding of psychiatry in rural Australia.
The workshop will feature an evening of canapes and networking on 20 June 2025, and an all-day interactive workshop on 21 June 2025.
About the Rural Readiness workshop
Workshop attendees will be given the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, network with like-minded trainees, and more.
Workshop highlights:
• Interactive learnings
• Practical case studies and panel discussions
• The future of psychiatry in a rural location
• Peer support opportunities and social activities.
Who can apply to attend
Trainees in all stages as well as SIMG are invited to express interest in attending a workshop.
