This is an in-person event. If you are based in the north/northwest of Tasmania, a live stream option will be available.
Live stream attendees will be sent the Zoom link prior to the event. Confirmation of start time for the webinar will also be sent with the link.
Please note, in-person attendees will be invited to ask questions first. If there is time, questions may then be taken from the online audience.

Associate Professor Paul Cammell
Associate Professor Paul Cammel is currently the Chair of the Faculty of Psychotherapy (RANZCP) and the Victorian Director of Advanced Training in Psychotherapies. His undergraduate studies were at ANU as a National Undergraduate Scholarship holder. As a University of Sydney medical student he spent time at the Canberra Clinical School in the late 1990s. Over the years he has had numerous clinical lead roles in emergency mental health and had spent his early career training then completing subspecialty psychotherapy and doctoral studies whist at Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia. He trained in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy and was a Visiting Fellow with Professor Otto Kernberg's Personality Studies Institute, Weill-Cornell Medical College, New York. He is currently a senior psychiatrist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Head of the Psychotherapy Program at St Vincent's Health (Melbourne), a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and a psychotherapist in private practice. He is also the Research Lead for the recently established Borderline Personality Disorder Centre of Excellence in South Australia. He has written numerous articles and a book, Reinterpreting the Borderline, about personality disorder, psychoanalytic theory and philosophy. He also co-authored a book, The Therapeutic Encounter, written with Ross Kalucy, elaborating on psychodynamically-informed practice in everyday psychiatric clinical work.

Cancellation and refund policy
Change of mind cancellations must be made in writing and sent to ranzcp.tas@ranzcp.org for a full refund by 2 April. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded.
*Trainee cancellation policy
This event is free for Tasmanian trainees to attend. If you RSVP but don't attend on the night, you will be invoiced for the cost of the meal ($65), unless there are extenuating circumstances.
If you are no longer able to attend, you must advise ranzcp.tas@ranzcp.org before 3 April 2025, and you won't be charged.

By registering for this event, the RANZCP reserves the right to provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any other relevant government requirements.

The RANZCP reserves the right to update the COVID protocols to ensure the health and safety of participants, including but not limited to event entry requirements.
