The Tasmania Branch invites you to attend this in-person dinner lecture presented by Canadian addiction psychiatrist and clinical scientist Dr Tanya Hauck.

About Tanya Hauck

Dr. Tanya Hauck is an addictions psychiatrist, educator and researcher at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She completed her undergraduate, doctoral and medical degrees, psychiatric residency and masters of clinical epidemiology degree at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hauck has established a number of novel partnerships in the community facilitating the provision of specialized addiction psychiatry treatment within outpatient and residential Community Addictions Treatment settings. Dr. Hauck is an educator in the area of Stimulant Use Disorder treatment and a leader in advocating for improved access to evidence-based addiction treatment throughout Ontario. Her research and clinical interests include the epidemiology of addictions and addictions psychiatry in Ontario and stimulant use disorders.

  • Zoom attendance available for members in the north/north west.

This is an in-person event. If you are unable to attend in person i.e., for members in the north/north west of the state, there will be an option to view the event via live stream. Please note, as this is an in-person event, attendees will have the priority and their questions addressed first, if there is time, questions may be taken from the online audience.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Change of mind cancellations must be made in writing and sent to ranzcp.tas@ranzcp.org for a full refund by 30 April. Cancellations made after this date will not be refunded.

*Trainee cancellation policy

This event is free for Tasmanian trainees to attend. Those who don't attend on the night will be invoiced for the cost of the meal ($65), unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you are no longer able to attend, you must advise ranzcp.tas@ranzcp.org before 1 May 2025, and you won't be charged.
