The College is seeking Fellows to support trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMG) in their progression to Fellowship in 2024 and beyond. Apply to become an examiner for the Clinical Competency Assessment – Modified Portfolio Review (CCA – MPR) in September 2024.
Participating assessors can earn CPD hours for calibration workshops and the marking process.
Examiners play a pivotal role in ensuring a reliable and equitable assessment process, dedicating their expertise on a pro bono basis.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have a minimum of two years as a RANZCP Fellow.
- Have a working knowledge and be familiar with the current RANZCP Training and Assessment Regulations and principles of the curriculum framework.
- Experience working as a RANZCP-accredited SIMG/trainee supervisor is essential.
As an examiner, your responsibilities will include:
- Participation in calibration workshop
- Participating in the online portfolio review meetings for each Cohort.
- Providing relevant feedback during the Portfolio Review assessments.
- Evaluating the reliability and validity of the marking process.
A calibration workshop (online) will be scheduled in August 2024 and the Portfolio Review assessments will start in September 2024.
