Transition from trainee to consultant psychiatrist

Navigating and adapting to the change in role from psychiatry trainee to consultant psychiatrist is recognised as a challenging and exciting phase of one's career. This webinar will feature the advice of three psychiatrists with diverse career experiences during this time, including advice on preparing for the transition from the perspective of a service clinical director, moving into private practice from the perspective of an early career psychiatrist, and adapting to the role of supervisor of trainees from the perspective of a clinical and academic psychiatrist. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel following the speaker presentations.
