In-personRANZCP NSW Branch and NSW Rural Psychiatry Project invite you to join the upcoming 2-full day Rural-based Psychiatry Trainee Forum, weekend of Saturday 16 November to Sunday 17 November 2024 at Maddison House (NSW Branch office), 761 Darling Street, Rozelle.
This event is open only to NSW Rural-based Trainees (those living and working rurally).
Program
The NSW Rural Psychiatry Project is delighted to present a stimulating and diverse program with compelling speakers, covering a wide array of topics. There will be plenty of time for audience involvement and questions throughout the two days.
Over the weekend, this face-to-face only Forum will discuss diverse topics such as:
- -Keynote: Psychedelics in Psychiatry
- Neurodevelopmental disorders - ADHD
- Autism
- Addictions and CL
- How to navigate the Fellowship Training Program and assessments and exams

Accommodation
our transport (flight and taxi) and accommodation's expenses will be fully covered by the NSW Rural Psychiatry Project.
To book your flight and accommodation, please contact Corporate Traveller direct (email: ranzcp@corporatetraveller.com.au) and quote Cost Centre 999, Project Number 7222 (rural project). Cab-charges will be issued to participants close to the event.
Travel and accommodation expenses should be in accordance with the College travel and related expenses for all RANZCP members and staff approved per diem.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation - change of mind
There is no cancellation refund as this is a free event. If you cannot attend and have registered, please let us know by sending your cancellation to ranzcp.nsw@ranzcp.org as soon as possible as seats are limited.
Cancellation - Medical
The health and safety of attendees is our highest priority. RANZCP requests that any attendee who is feeling unwell or has cold flu symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not to attend the event. If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the event, please send your cancellation to ranzcp.nsw@ranzcp.org as soon as possible as seats are limited.
Event cancellation
RANZCP is monitoring the latest health advice from both the Department of Health (Australia) and the NSW Government, and we ask that all attendees do the same. If we are required to make any changes or cancellations to our event due to government restrictions in relation to COVID-19, attendees will be notified by email.
