In April each year, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists starts the process of auditing 10% of all continuing professional development (CPD) claims from the previous calendar year, as required.
CPD is a requirement for the medical registration of medical practitioners in Australia and New Zealand.
This year’s audit is going particularly well using the MyCPD online system and we wanted to share some of the results with you.
- There were 405 members randomly selected for the annual audit this year.
- All audits began prior to 31 July 2018
- 85.7% are complete and compliant
- Only 37% were complete this time last year
Participants have also said that MyCPD has saved them time collating portfolios of evidence for the audit.
We will endeavour to keep you up to date with other CPD news as it arises.
